INSTRUCTORS
 
All instructors at Arkansas
Beauty School are fully qualified and well educated. They take
pride in what they do here at the school. They continue their
education each and every year and work hard to stay abreast of all the
new trends. All instructors have experience working in the Salon
and love passing on their knowledge. We believe in our students at
Arkansas Beauty School and we believe everyone deserves the best
education.
Pat Ray
Began her cosmetology career in the state of Mississippi in
1977. She came to Arkansas and became licensed in 1978. Her
career at Arkansas Beauty School began in 1989 when she worked as the
Director and Financial Aid Administrator. She worked to get the
school its accreditation and to bring it up to standards. She and
her husband, Cody, purchased the school in 2001. She has over 30
years of experience in the industry and over 28 years as an educator.
Toni
Metcalf
Began her career over 25 years ago. She owned and operated a Salon
for over 15 years when she decided to return to school for Instructor's
training. She has been an Educator for over 15 years and has
taught in several areas. She came to Arkansas Beauty School in
2001 where she became the Director of Education and Financial Aid
Administrator. her duties include Teaching Theory, Pre-Clinic,
Clinic Floor, FFA, and Student Loans.
Bessie Hagood
Began her cosmetology career over 34 years ago. She became a licensed cosmetologist when she was 19 years old and has continued in this business, becoming a successful salon owner. Around 7 years ago she decided to become an instructor, she went back to school, got her education in Instructor's Training and 2 years ago joined the team at ABS. Her job duties include; Theory Teaching, Pre-Clinic Instruction, and Clinic Floor Instruction. "My goal as an Educator is to professional train students to be respectful, profitable, and business minded".
Linda Faye Franklin
Beginning her cosmetology over 20 years ago and has been a licensed instructor for 9 years. She is a successful stylist in a salon in the Little Rock area. She joined the ABS team 1 year ago and is one of our Night Instructors. Her job duties include; Teaching Theory, Clinic Floor Instruction and Pre-Clinic Instruction. "The cosmetology field is always changing and I plan to change with it".
